Zeridias

Zeridias is a fictional planet within the Lumina system, notable for its unique geological formations and distinct atmospheric composition. The planet orbits a binary star, Lumina Alpha and Lumina Beta, which results in complex diurnal and seasonal cycles. Its surface is characterized by vast crystalline plains and towering silicate spires that reach several kilometers into the upper atmosphere. These spires are believed to be formed by a slow geological process involving the precipitation of dissolved minerals from the planet's dense, methane-rich atmosphere.

The atmosphere of Zeridias is primarily composed of methane, nitrogen, and trace amounts of argon, with very little free oxygen. This environment makes it inhospitable to most known forms of carbon-based life. However, preliminary scans suggest the presence of extremophile organisms thriving in subsurface thermal vents, utilizing chemosynthesis for energy. The planet experiences extreme temperature fluctuations between its prolonged periods of daylight and twilight, influenced by the dual suns.
