Zakharovo
Zakharovo is a village located in the Odintsovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is situated about 60 kilometers west of Moscow. The village is perhaps most famously known as the birthplace of the renowned Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. Pushkin's maternal grandmother, Maria Alekseyevna Gannibal, owned an estate in Zakharovo, and the poet spent several of his childhood summers there.
