Zêzere
Zêzere is a river in Portugal. It is the third longest river in mainland Portugal, with a length of 242 kilometers. The Zêzere originates in the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in continental Portugal, and flows in a generally south-westerly direction before emptying into the Tagus River near Constância. The river's course is marked by a series of dams, most notably the Castelo de Bode Dam, which forms a large reservoir and is a significant source of hydroelectric power and water for irrigation and consumption.
