Yürüyeceim

Yürüyeceğim is a Turkish verb form meaning “I will walk.” It is the first-person singular future tense of yürümek, to walk. The form is created by adding the future suffix to the verb stem, with vowel harmony producing yürüyeceğim for I will walk and yürüyecek for he/she/it will walk.

Morphology and spelling are regular for Turkish verbs. The base verb yürümek appears in common daily use, and the future tense is formed with the suffix -ecek/-eceğiz depending on person, resulting in forms such as yürüyeceğim (I will walk), yürüyeceğiz (we will walk), and yürüyecek (he/she/it will walk). The connective element yürü- comes from the root related to walking, while -yecek/-eceğim are standard future-tense endings.

Usage and semantics are straightforward: yürüyeceğim is used to express an intention, plan, or decision to walk in the future. It can stand alone as a simple statement or be embedded in longer sentences, for example, “Yürüyeceğim şimdi” (I will walk now) or “Yürüyeceğim daha sonra” (I will walk later).

Orthography notes. The standard spelling in Turkish is yürüyeceğim, which includes the letters ü and ğ. A nonstandard or misspelled variant such as yürüyeceim may appear in informal contexts, but it is not the correct form in standard Turkish.
