Yhdistelmäkieliopin is a linguistic term derived from the Finnish words yhdistelmä (combination) and kieliopio (language grammar). It refers to an analytical framework in which grammatical systems of two or more languages are combined to create a hybrid structure. The concept emerged in the late twentieth century as part of comparative syntax research, particularly within the field of contact linguistics.

The framework posits that when speakers of different linguistic backgrounds interact intensively, they may employ a cohesive yet flexible grammatical system that incorporates elements from each parent language. This process differs from pidginization or creolization in that the resulting system preserves significant grammatical features from all contributing languages rather than simplifying them to the minimum necessary for communication. Yhdistelmäkieliopin is therefore considered a model for studying language convergence that maintains diversity within a unified structure.

Key features of yhdistelmäkieliopin include syntactic mangling of constituent orders, simultaneous use of morphology from distinct language families, and lexical borrowing that is then morphologically adapted to the hybrid grammatical system.
