Yenagoa
Yenagoa is the capital city of Bayelsa State in Nigeria. It is located in the Niger Delta region of the country. The city is situated on the eastern bank of the Nun River, a distributary of the Niger River. Yenagoa was established as a settlement by the Yenizue community and later became the administrative center for the Yenagoa Local Government Area before it was designated as the capital of the newly created Bayelsa State in 1996.
