Wulfilas
Wulfilas, also known as Ulfilas or Wulfila, was a Gothic bishop and missionary who lived in the 4th century AD. He is most famous for translating the Bible into the Gothic language. Born around 310 AD, Wulfilas was of Gothic or Cappadocian-Gothic descent. He spent much of his life among the Goths, a Germanic people who had migrated to the Roman Empire's borders.
