Windsheim

Windsheim is a town located in the Middle Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. It is situated in the administrative district of Ansbach within the Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen Government District. Windsheim is approximately 22 kilometers east of Ansbach and about 150 kilometers north of Munich.

The town has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. It was granted market privileges by Count Meinhard II of Gorz in 1277.
