Westfálisch

Westfälisch is a Low German dialect spoken in the Westphalia region of northwestern Germany. It is part of the larger Westphalian dialect group, which in turn belongs to the Low Saxon dialects. Westfälisch is characterized by distinct phonetic features that differentiate it from High German and other Low German dialects.
