Võrdlusastet
Võrdlusastet, often translated as comparative or superlative, refers to the grammatical modification of adjectives and adverbs to express degrees of comparison. In Estonian, like in many other languages, there are three degrees: the positive, the comparative, and the superlative. The positive degree is the base form of the adjective or adverb, for example, 'kõrge' (tall) or 'hästi' (well).
The comparative degree indicates that something possesses a quality to a greater extent than something else.
The formation of comparative and superlative degrees can sometimes involve stem changes or irregular forms. Understanding
