Vákuumszárítás
Vákuumszárítás refers to a drying process that occurs under reduced atmospheric pressure. This method is particularly useful for heat-sensitive materials, as the lower pressure allows water or other solvents to evaporate at significantly lower temperatures than would be required at standard atmospheric pressure. The process typically involves placing the material within a vacuum chamber. A vacuum pump then reduces the pressure inside the chamber. Heat may be applied, either directly to the material or indirectly through the chamber walls, to accelerate the evaporation of the solvent. As the solvent evaporates, it is removed from the chamber, often by a condenser or through the vacuum system itself, preventing it from re-contaminating the dried material. Vákuumszárítás is widely used in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, food processing, and the preservation of biological samples. Its ability to preserve the integrity and properties of delicate substances makes it a preferred method for certain applications where conventional drying techniques could cause degradation or loss of valuable components.
