Volkmarsen
Volkmarsen is a town in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the River Twiste, 15 kilometers west of Kassel. The town has a population of approximately 6,800 residents. Volkmarsen's history dates back to the 11th century, with evidence of settlement found much earlier. It gained municipal rights in the 13th century.
