These parameters are typically monitored in clinical settings to assess a patient's condition and guide medical treatment. The most commonly measured vital parameters include:

1. Body temperature: This is a measure of the body's internal heat and is usually taken orally, rectally, or using a thermometer placed under the arm or in the ear. A normal body temperature is around 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

2. Pulse rate: This is the number of times the heart beats per minute and is usually measured by taking the radial pulse at the wrist. A normal resting pulse rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute.

3. Respiratory rate: This is the number of times a person breathes per minute and is usually counted by observing the rise and fall of the chest or abdomen. A normal respiratory rate is between 12 and 20 breaths per minute.

4. Blood pressure: This is the force exerted by blood against the walls of the arteries and is measured using a sphygmomanometer. Blood pressure is typically expressed as two numbers: systolic pressure (the pressure when the heart beats) and diastolic pressure (the pressure when the heart rests between beats). A normal blood pressure is below 120/80 mmHg.

5. Oxygen saturation: This is a measure of the amount of oxygen in the blood and is usually measured using a pulse oximeter. A normal oxygen saturation level is above 95%.

Regular monitoring of vital parameters is essential for early detection of any abnormalities or changes in the body's basic functions. Abnormal vital signs may indicate the presence of an underlying medical condition and prompt further investigation and treatment.
