Visszaverés

Visszaverés is a Hungarian term that translates to "reflection" in English. It refers to the phenomenon where a wave, such as light or sound, bounces off a surface. This bouncing back of the wave is governed by specific laws, most notably the law of reflection.

The law of reflection states that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection. The angle of incidence is the angle between the incoming wave and the normal (a line perpendicular to the surface) at the point of incidence. Similarly, the angle of reflection is the angle between the reflected wave and the normal. Furthermore, the incident ray, the reflected ray, and the normal all lie in the same plane.

Visszaverés can occur in various forms depending on the nature of the surface. Specular reflection happens when a wave reflects off a smooth surface, like a mirror, resulting in a clear, undistorted reflection. Diffuse reflection, on the other hand, occurs when a wave reflects off a rough surface. In this case, the light or sound is scattered in many different directions, and no clear image is formed.
