Vettünk
Vettünk is the first-person plural past tense form of the Hungarian verb venni, meaning to take or to buy. It denotes a completed action in the past and is used with an indefinite object, as in Vettünk egy könyvet (We bought a book). When the object is definite, the past definite form is used: Vettük a könyvet (We bought the book).
