Veerashaivaism
Veerashaivaism, also known as Lingayatism, is a Shaivite devotional tradition within Hinduism. It emerged in Karnataka, India, around the 12th century CE. The central tenet of Veerashaivaism is the worship of Shiva as the supreme being, often symbolized by the lingam.
