Vedelikupressiooni

Vedelikupressiooni refers to a depressive illness that is prevalent in warm and humid climates usually occurring at a young age, predominantly in India. It was first identified in the Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh and quickly become a condition of interest because of its severe nature. The illness typically surfaces during monsoon season and can extend into the post-monsoon period.

Symptoms associated with this condition manifest as feeling of hopelessness and a strong desire not to be exposed to the sun or water. This condition often triggers functions of anxiety, and fear of going outside as much as possible. People who live in humid areas can be said to be at a higher risk of developing this condition.

Prevalence studies have been conducted in some areas, but more research is required to confirm whether it is related to other conditions such as anxiety or more common types of depression. In India, seasonal affective disorder is said to lack strong citation and the diagnoses for this illness are not recognized by everyone. Complications may occur in the form of more severe reactions if an attack is ignored, including recurring episodes.
