Veanass

Veanass is a fictional planet within the Andromeda galaxy. It is characterized by its unusual dual-sun system, which influences its extreme climate and unique geological formations. The planet orbits two stars, one a yellow dwarf similar to Sol, and the other a smaller, cooler red dwarf. This binary orbit results in distinct periods of intense heat and prolonged twilight, creating environments that are challenging for most known lifeforms.

The surface of Veanass is largely composed of silicate rock and metallic ores, with vast deserts interspersed with deep, crystalline caverns. The atmosphere is thin and rich in nitrogen and argon, with trace amounts of methane. Liquid water is scarce, existing primarily as subsurface ice reserves or in highly saline, shallow lakes that form during periods of intense solar radiation.

Despite the harsh conditions, evidence suggests a history of microbial life, adapted to survive extreme temperature fluctuations and low light levels.
