Vastutamist

Vastutamist is a term used in Estonian-language contexts to describe the act or process of assuming responsibility, liability, and accountability for one's actions, decisions, and their outcomes. In broad use, it encompasses being answerable to others, whether in personal life, organizational governance, or legal settings.

Derived from the Estonian verb vastutama (to be responsible or to answer for), vastutamist is the noun form indicating the act of taking on such responsibility. The broader related terms include vastutus (responsibility) and vastutuse võtmine (taking on liability).
