Varosia
Varosia is a ghost town located on the coast of Famagusta Bay in Cyprus. It was once a popular tourist resort and the second-largest city in Cyprus. Following the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, Varosia was evacuated and has remained abandoned ever since. The area is now fenced off and under the control of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
