Valynias is a fictional planet within the Andromeda galaxy. Its surface is characterized by vast, crystalline deserts interspersed with deep, phosphorescent oceans. The planet's atmosphere is rich in noble gases, giving the sky a perpetual violet hue.

The dominant life forms on Valynias are silicon-based organisms known as the Lumina. These beings communicate through intricate patterns of bioluminescence and are believed to possess a collective consciousness. Lumina society is structured around the principles of energy conservation and harmonious coexistence with their environment. The Lumina enter a dormant state during the Great Stillness, reawakening for the energy-rich Radiant Bloom.
