Vaikutusaines

Vaikutusaines refers to a type of chemical compound used in the manufacturing of photographic films and papers. These compounds are designed to react with light, specifically with the wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the film or paper. When exposed to light, the vaikutusaines undergoes a chemical change, which is then fixed in the film or paper through a series of chemical processes. This change is what allows the image to be developed and made permanent.

Vaikutusaines are typically silver halides, such as silver bromide or silver chloride, which are sensitive to light. When light hits the film or paper, it causes the silver halide to release silver ions, which then react with other chemicals in the film or paper to form a latent image. This latent image is then developed into a visible image through a series of chemical reactions.
