Vaalipiiriin
Vaalipiiriin is the illative form of vaalipiiri, meaning “into the electoral district” or “to the electoral district” in Finnish. A vaalipiiri, or electoral district, is a legally defined geographic area used to organize elections and to elect representatives. In Finland, parliamentary elections divide the country into multiple vaalipiirit; the borders and the number of districts are set by electoral law and may cross municipal borders to reflect population and geography.
