For instance, a server might respond with a mobile-friendly version of a website to a device with a User Agent String that indicates it is being accessed from a mobile device.

Web developers and administrators can use User Agent Strings to customize the behavior of websites and web applications, such as displaying different layouts or content to different types of devices or browsers.
