Ulkoelimet
Ulkoelimet, or external organs, are a group of organs located outside the body's main cavity, the abdominal cavity. They are essential for the body's survival and functioning. The primary external organs include the skin, which serves as a protective barrier against external threats, and the sense organs such as the eyes, ears, nose, and tongue, which facilitate sensory perception. The respiratory system, consisting of the lungs and associated structures, is crucial for gas exchange and breathing. The digestive system, which includes the mouth, esophagus, and anus, is responsible for the breakdown and absorption of food. The urinary system, comprising the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, filters waste products from the blood and excretes them as urine. The reproductive system, which varies between males and females, is responsible for the production of gametes and the maintenance of hormonal balance. Together, these external organs work in harmony to support the body's overall health and well-being.
