Uceris

Uceris is a brand name for the prescription medication known generically as beclomethasone dipropionate. It is a corticosteroid medication used to treat mild to moderate active ulcerative colitis in adults. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the large intestine. Uceris works by reducing inflammation in the colon.

Uceris is available in two forms: an oral tablet and a rectal foam. The oral tablet is taken by mouth, while the rectal foam is administered into the rectum.
