UTC13

UTC+13 is a time offset that adds 13 hours to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). It is 13 hours ahead of UTC and is one of the several global offsets used to standardize civil time in different regions.

The most widely recognized use of UTC+13 occurs in New Zealand during daylight saving time, when clocks advance one hour from UTC+12 (NZST) to UTC+13 (NZDT). Outside of daylight saving, New Zealand observes UTC+12. In addition, various Pacific territories and jurisdictions may employ UTC+13 depending on local time policies, either seasonally or year-round.

Practically, a time of 12:00 UTC corresponds to 01:00 the following day in UTC+13. This offset is part of how the International Date Line and regional time-zone boundaries influence the calendar and daily schedules across continents and oceans. Time conversions between UTC+13 and other offsets must account for these differences, especially for travel, communication, and event planning.
