USARAK
USARAK, an acronym for United States Army Air Corps, is a historical aviation branch of the United States Army. Established in 1926, it was the forerunner to the United States Air Force. The USARAK was responsible for the development and operation of military aircraft, as well as the training of aircrew. It played a significant role in the early development of aviation technology and tactics during World War II. The USARAK was officially disbanded in 1947, with its responsibilities and personnel being transferred to the newly established United States Air Force.
