UBE2D2

UBE2D2, also known as E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UbcM2 or UBCm2, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This system is responsible for the degradation of damaged or unnecessary proteins within cells, a process vital for maintaining cellular health and function. UBE2D2 is a member of the E2 conjugating enzyme family, which are essential components in the cascade of events leading to protein ubiquitination.
