Työaikajakson
Työaikajakson refers to a period of time during which an employee's working hours are measured. In Finland, this concept is central to the Working Time Act (Työaikalaki). A työaikajakso is typically a fixed period, such as a week, a fortnight, or a month, within which the total working hours are calculated and compared against the standard working hours defined by law or collective agreements.
The purpose of defining a työaikajakso is to manage working time, ensure that employees are not overworked,
