Tytärsaari
Tytärsaari, also known in Russian as Tütärskari or Malyi Tyuters, is a small island in the Gulf of Finland. Historically, it belonged to Finland but was ceded to the Soviet Union after the Winter War and subsequently the Continuation War. The island is situated in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, approximately 20 kilometers from the Finnish coast and 30 kilometers from the Estonian coast. Its geographical location made it strategically important at various points in history.
The island is relatively flat and sparsely vegetated, characterized by rocky shores and some forested areas.
