Typarnae, also known as Typarnaion, was an ancient city located in the region of Boeotia, Greece. It was situated on the western slopes of Mount Cithaeron, near the modern town of Livadia. The city was founded by the Boeotians in the 8th century BC and became an important center for the worship of the god Apollo. The temple of Apollo Typarneus, dedicated to Apollo, was one of the most significant religious sites in the region.
