TupiMondé

TupiMondé is a language family spoken in Brazil, primarily in the Amazon Basin. It is one of the largest indigenous language families in South America, with numerous distinct languages and dialects. The term "TupiMondé" is a classification used by linguists to group these related languages, reflecting shared origins and grammatical structures.

The most well-known member of this family is Tupi, also known as Old Tupi, which was the lingua franca of much of the Brazilian coast during the colonial era.
