Tsüklisatsioon
Tsüklisatsioon is a chemical reaction where a linear molecule undergoes an intramolecular reaction to form a ring structure. This process typically involves the formation of one or more new chemical bonds between atoms within the same molecule. The driving force for tsüklisatsioon can be varied, often involving the proximity of reactive functional groups within the molecule. Common examples include the formation of cyclic ethers, cyclic amines, lactones (cyclic esters), and lactams (cyclic amides).
The size and stability of the resulting ring are important factors influencing the feasibility of tsüklisatsioon.
