Trévoux
Trévoux is a commune in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Located on the Saône River, it is situated about 15 kilometers north of Lyon. The town has a long history, with evidence of settlement dating back to Roman times. In the medieval period, Trévoux became an important administrative and judicial center, serving as the capital of the Principality of Dombes.
