Triplettzustands, also known as triplet states, are a fundamental concept in quantum mechanics and atomic physics. In a triplet state, the system can exist in three distinct orientations of the total spin, each with a specific magnetic quantum number (m_s = +1, 0, -1).

In atomic physics, triplet states can occur in atoms with multiple electrons.
