Trasplantament

Trasplantament is a Catalan term that translates to "transplant" in English. In a medical context, a trasplantament refers to the surgical procedure of removing an organ or tissue from one person's body and implanting it into the body of another person. This is a life-saving treatment for individuals whose organs have failed or are severely damaged. The donor can be either living, such as a kidney or part of a liver, or deceased.
