Transzdukálhatók

Transzdukálhatók is a Hungarian term that translates to "transducible" in English. In biology and molecular biology, transducibility refers to the capacity of a virus, specifically a bacteriophage, to transfer genetic material from one bacterium to another. This process is a form of horizontal gene transfer. Bacteriophages are viruses that infect bacteria, and during their replication cycle, they can accidentally package fragments of the host bacterium's DNA into new viral particles. When these newly formed phages infect a different bacterium, they inject this transferred genetic material along with their own viral DNA. This can lead to the recipient bacterium acquiring new genetic traits, such as antibiotic resistance or the ability to produce toxins. The term "transzdukálhatók" can be used to describe entities or elements that are capable of undergoing or participating in this process of transduction. For instance, specific genes or plasmids within a bacterium might be described as transzdukálhatók if they are readily incorporated into phage particles and can be transferred to other bacteria via transduction.
