Toimituskunnat

Toimituskunnat are the executive committees used in Finnish municipal administration. In the municipal context, a toimituskunta is the body elected by the municipal council to act as the municipality’s executive arm between council meetings. Its tasks include preparing matters to be decided by the council, monitoring the implementation of council decisions, and handling routine administration and delegated duties.
