Tiszántúlon
Tiszántúl is a geographical and historical region in eastern Hungary, located east of the Tisza River. The name literally translates to "beyond the Tisza." It forms one of the three main parts of Hungary, along with Dunántúl (Transdanubia) and the Tisza region between the Danube and the Tisza. The region is characterized by its flat terrain, predominantly agricultural land, and a series of lakes, most notably Lake Balaton, though it is technically not within Tiszántúl, it is a major tourist destination in the broader region.
