Tibetankielet

Tibetankielet, also known as Standard Tibetan or Classical Tibetan, is a member of the Sino-Tibetan language family, specifically the Tibeto-Burman branch. It is the literary language of Tibet and is used in religious and scholarly contexts. The language has a rich history, with its earliest known texts dating back to the 8th century. Tibetankielet is written in the Tibetan script, which is an abugida, meaning each character represents a consonant-vowel combination.
