Thiolpyrophosphates

Thiolpyrophosphates are a class of chemical compounds that contain a pyrophosphate core with at least one sulfur atom replacing an oxygen atom. The pyrophosphate anion has the formula [P2O7]4-, consisting of two phosphate groups linked by an oxygen atom. In thiolpyrophosphates, one or more of these oxygen atoms are replaced by sulfur atoms, leading to various structural isomers.
