Teukros

Teukros, known in English as Teucer (Greek: Τεύκρος), is a figure in Greek mythology and appears as a royal prince of Salamis and a prominent archer. He is described as the son of Telamon, king of Salamis, and thus the brother of Ajax the Great. In the Greek epic tradition, Teucer is celebrated for his skill with the bow and his participation on the Greek side during the Trojan War, where he serves as a leading archer and a commander in the fighting around Troy.

In Trojan War narratives, Teucer is depicted as one of the principal Greek archers and a capable fighter who takes part in key assaults and defenses during the siege of Troy. His role emphasizes his prowess with ranged weaponry and his steadfast involvement in the war effort alongside other Greek heroes.
