Tecnologicamente

Tecnológicamente is an adverb used in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian to indicate that an action, assessment, or condition relates to technology or the use of technological means. It translates roughly as "technologically" in English and is used to denote the manner, level, or degree of technological involvement.

Etymology: The term derives from the noun technology, together with the adverbial suffix -mente. In Spanish, the form is tecnológicamente with an accent on the o; in Portuguese and Italian the form is tecnologicamente, without an accent.

Usage: It is common in technical writing, journalism, and science, as well as everyday speech, to emphasize how something relies on, or is shaped by, technology. It can modify verbs (es tecnológicamente viable), adjectives (solución tecnológicamente avanzada), or entire clauses (tecnológicamente, la región ha cambiado). Example sentences: "La empresa ha desarrollado soluciones tecnológicamente avanzadas." "La región ha crecido tecnológicamente gracias a la inversión en investigación." It can also distinguish passive or active involvement with technology from non-technological means.
