Tbone

Tbone most commonly refers to the T-bone steak, a cut of beef from the short loin. The steak includes a T-shaped bone that separates a portion of the tenderloin from the strip loin. Because it contains two types of muscle, it is usually tender and flavorful, and it is commonly grilled or broiled.

In transportation and safety discussions, a T-bone collision describes a crash in which the front end of one vehicle strikes the side of another, forming a "T" shape. Such accidents often occur at intersections and can be severe because of side impact vulnerability.

In popular culture, T-Bone is used as a nickname or stage name. The best-known example is T-Bone Burnett (born 1948), an American musician, producer, and composer whose work spans rock, folk, and film soundtracks.
