Tarfalas

Tarfalas is a fictional river in J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium, appearing in *The Silmarillion*. It is a significant waterway in the geography of Beleriand, a region central to the First Age of Middle-earth. The river originates in the Ered Gorgoroth, the Mountains of Doom, and flows northward.
