Tapwrit
Tapwrit is an American Thoroughbred racehorse foaled in 2014. He was sired by Tapit, one of the leading American sires, and was trained by Todd Pletcher. He is best known for winning the Belmont Stakes in 2017, the third leg of the U.S. Triple Crown, run at Belmont Park in New York over a distance of 1.5 miles on dirt. In that race, Tapwrit defeated a field of other three-year-olds to secure a first Grade 1 victory.
