Taottujen

Taottujen, also known as muscular hyaluronic acid, refers to a type of extracellular matrix found in connective tissue. This matrix is composed of a type of polysaccharide called hyaluronic acid or hyaluronate, which is highly viscoelastic. The term "taottujen" is Finnish and translates to "expanding" or "swelling," likely due to the hyaluronic acid's ability to absorb and retain water, increasing the volume of the surrounding tissue.

Taottujen plays a crucial role in maintaining the lubrication and cushioning of tissues within joints, as well as facilitating the nourishment and removal of waste products. The viscoelastic properties of hyaluronic acid allow it to withstand changes in pressure and movement. Research has also associated taottujen with other biological functions, including immune response, inflammation resolution, and induction of vein compliance.

Taottujen can be found in high concentrations in areas where movement and tissue compression are high, such as the synovial fluid in joints and the vitreous humor in the eye. There is also evidence to suggest that taottujen plays a significant role in joint health, contributing to the shock-absorbing properties and maintaining range of motion. High levels of taottujen are also adapted in locations where friction and trauma may be considerable.

The acetic function of taottujen in joints can be reduced or lost as a result of aging, or other joint disorders, which may result in jaw joint osteoarthritis, local pain and swelling.
