Takuvelvoitteeta
Takuvelvoitteeta, meaning "without obligation of surety" or "without collateral" in Finnish, refers to a type of loan or financial arrangement where the borrower is not required to provide any security or guarantee to the lender. This contrasts with secured loans, where the borrower pledges an asset, such as real estate or a vehicle, as collateral. If the borrower defaults on a secured loan, the lender can seize the collateral to recoup their losses.
In a takuvelvoitteeta arrangement, the lender relies primarily on the borrower's creditworthiness and promise to repay.
