Tajutavateks

Tajutavateks is a form found in Estonian grammar. It is the translative plural form of the adjective tajutav, meaning perceivable or detectable. In sentences, it can function as a predicative or as a complement after a linking verb to indicate a change of state into being perceivable, or to describe things that are perceived as such.

The word is typically used in linguistic descriptions of Estonian morphology. The translative case, encoded by the suffix -ks, expresses a transition or change: from not having a property to having or becoming that property. The plural form tajutavateks thus literally means “as perceptible ones” or “to become perceptible ones.” For example, in a sentence like "Need esemed muutusid tajutavateks," the sense is "These items became perceptible" or "became perceivable (to be perceived as such)."
